Digital Harmony Technologies is using Green Hills Software's MULTI 2000® IDE (Integrated Development Environment) to develop the middleware and drivers for a complete IEEE-1394 audio/video node controller solution based on the ARM7 Thumb® processor and ThreadX® Real-Time Operating System. The resulting product, the Digital Harmony DHIVA® (Digital Harmony Interface for Video and Audio), is designed for manufacturers interested in adding a standards-compliant interface to their devices quickly and inexpensively. Digital Harmony's DHIVA is the only turnkey 1394-based interface module available to consumer electronics manufacturers for products coming to market in the year 2000.
