Santa Barbara, CA—March 29, 2006—Green Hills Software, Inc., the technology leader in real-time operating systems (RTOS) and device software optimization (DSO), today announced that it will participate in a series of 23 Texas Instruments (TI) DaVinci™ technology technical seminars across the United States and Canada. Last month, the two companies announced the Green Hills DSO solution for DaVinci technology, developed in partnership with TI, that provides a comprehensive suite of development tools and operating systems for TI’s multicore TMS320DM644x processors based on DaVinci technology.

These seminars offer an in-depth view of DaVinci technology, including application-specific software, high-level operating systems and accompanying tools and resources that will enable developers to design advanced video and audio products. Green Hills Software will demonstrate the MULTI integrated development environment’s ability to create, build, manage, and debug projects for the both the C64x+ DSP and the ARM9 processor cores on DaVinci; MULTI’s kernel-aware features in the builder and debugger for operating systems supported with DaVinci including INTEGRITY, velOSity, TI’s DSP/BIOS, and Linux; and the Green Hills probe that provides simultaneous multicore debugging through a single JTAG connection to the board. This complete support for TI’s DaVinci technology enables customers to shorten their product development cycles while ensuring maximum reliability and functionality.
