environment – MULTI. It will cover how to create and debug
programs for both the DSP and ARM processor cores using MULTI. It
will provide tools and techniques for various debugging methods/targets,
including multicore, run mode and freeze mode, OS aware for: TI’s
DSP/BIOS, INTEGRITY, and MontaVista Linux and much more. |
Session 2: |

What: |
Writing Reliable C/C++ Systems Code |
|
Highlights: |
This session will highlight the top sources of run-time
errors, and how to avoid them in order to write reliable code. Many
sources of errors are not detected during product testing, thus causing
run-time failures and costly product glitches. The top sources of
run-time errors are discussed and how to avoid them in order to write
reliable code. A demonstration of new features in MULTI for the TI
DaVinci processor will show how to detect bugs during the initial
development process. |
Green Hills will also be demonstrating its in-depth software development
solutions for both the DaVinci and OMAP processor technologies from TI.
These include the industry’s fastest multi-core target probes,
most advanced ARM C/C++/MISRA C compilers, the multi-core-enabled MULTI
IDE and royalty-free RTOS support with INTEGRITY, velOSity and µ-velOSity,
along with OS-aware debugging support for ARM Linux.
