CMC Electronics is using Green Hills Software’s INTEGRITY®-178 tuMP™ multicore RTOS for its MFD-3068 multicore smart display. CMC’s multicore MFD-3068 can drive up to four flight displays, including the primary flight display (PFD), and run multiple applications of mixed criticality up through the highest Design Assurance Level (DAL A). CMC depends on the multicore robust partitioning in the INTEGRITY-178 tuMP RTOS for deterministic operation across multiple cores, including consolidating key navigation information onto a single screen.
