Achieve Absolute Security
The INTEGRITY operating system foils hackers and viruses
INTEGRITY is the only commercial operating system that was designed for the realities of the 21st century. Soon every electronic product will be connected to the Internet. This will allow every person in the world to reach out and touch your product. Soon every electronic product will be vulnerable to attack by hackers and viruses. Every traditional operating system (e.g. Windows, UNIX, Linux, and VxWorks) can be crashed or commandeered by a high school hacker.
Soon, your neighborhood hacker will be able to bypass your home security system or ask your VCR what movies you rented last weekend. But the security problem is much larger than that. The Washington Post has reported that terrorists are planning to use the Internet to sabotage or commandeer as weapons, the safety critical electronic products that control dams, power grids, nuclear power plants, air traffic control systems, and hospitals. INTEGRITY prevents attacks by hackers and viruses.
INTEGRITY is reliable enough for the highest security applications
INTEGRITY not only prevents attacks by external hackers and viruses, it can prevent attacks by deep cover agents planted in the development teams of high security systems. With any commercial operating system other than INTEGRITY, saboteurs can place viruses or trojan horses into the software that can disable, spy on, or seize control of the system.
Security for military and national security systems has been the concern of the Department of Defense and the National Security Agency ever since computers first started communicating with each other. The DOD and NSA have developed security standards that compartmentalize high security systems in such a way that the worst damage that deep cover agents can do is to sabotage the component that they manage. Secure software compartments prevent bugs and viruses introduced by saboteurs from corrupting, commandeering, or disrupting the operating system or any other component of the system.
INTEGRITY is designed for the NSA's highest security level
The international standard for security evaluation is the Common Criteria, which defines assurance levels from EAL 1 to EAL 7, the highest security level. INTEGRITY-178 is the only commercial operating system that was designed from day one to meet the EAL 7 level.
According to the Common Criteria security standard "EAL 4 is the highest level at which it is likely to be economically feasible to retrofit an existing product line." No other commercial operating system was designed for security, so they will never exceed EAL 4, the middle security level. INTEGRITY-178 has been selected for numerous systems that require certification to EAL 6+ High Robustness such as the avionics, weapons systems, engines, and radar for more than twenty different models of military aircraft. INTEGRITY-178 has been evaluated by the National Security Agency (NSA) and certified by National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) to EAL 6+ and High Robustness for the protection of classified information against well-funded sophisticated attackers. The highest security level to which any other commercial operating system (Windows, Linux, Solaris & others) has ever been certified, only protects against "inadvertent or casual attempts to breach the system security." INTEGRITY-178 tuMP extends that security pedigree to multicore processors and while continuing to meet all the requirements for EAL 6+ and High Robustness.
