Phoenix Contact is using Green Hills Software’s IEC 61508 SIL 3 safety-certified INTEGRITY® RTOS in its RFC 4072S high end safety programmable logic controller (PLC). The safety side of the RFC 4072S PLC supports safety applications up to SIL 3 and can communicate with 300 PROFIsafe devices simultaneously. Green Hills Software was selected for its proven track record in high reliability and safety-certified systems.
