Altair Semiconductor is using Green Hills Software's MULTI integrated development environment (IDE) and optimizing compilers in its FourGee-3100 multi-band FDD RF transceiver IC. The FourGee-3100 delivers state-of-the-art radio performance, ultra-low power consumption, and minimal external component count. The MULTI IDE was selected for its great ease-of-use, rich feature set, and native support of Altair's multi-core embedded targets. The Green Hills compilers were selected for generating high-performance, small-footprint code results in MIPS architecture benchmarks.
