EZURiO, a unit of Laird Technologies, is using Green Hills Software's velOSity RTOS in their WISM wireless cards for medical/point-of-sale terminals. EZURiO’s WISM cards allow a module to become an active participant in remote monitoring applications rather than the usual basic Wi-Fi conduit. velOSity allows EZURiO to implement an abstracted programming interface which uses scripts rather than hardcore programming language to construct powerful M2M applications.
