Saab, the defense and civil security company, is using Green Hills Software's INTEGRITY< RTOS and MULTI IDE in the Saab Skeldar unmanned aerial vehicle’s (UAV) redundant flight control unit, based on the Freescale MPC5554 microcontroller. Saab’s Skeldar is a fully autonomous, lightweight, unmanned helicopter. The INTEGRITY RTOS provides a totally reliable and absolutely secure platform enabling the Skeldar to support both military and civil roles.
