Daniel P. Burnham, Former Raytheon Company Chairman and CEO, Elected to Green Hills Software Board of Directors

Prominent Executive Brings Experience from Raytheon, AlliedSignal and Numerous Professional Organizations

SANTA BARBARA, CA-February 10, 2004— Green Hills Software, Inc., the market leader in embedded software development tools and royalty-free real-time operating systems (RTOS), announced today the election of Daniel P. Burnham to its Board of Directors. Dan Burnham

Most recently, Mr. Burnham was Chairman and chief executive officer of Raytheon Company, a leader in the defense, government and commercial electronics markets with approximately $17 billion in annual sales. Prior to joining Raytheon, Mr. Burnham was vice chairman of AlliedSignal, Inc. and president of AlliedSignal Aerospace.

In 2000 Mr. Burnham received a Presidential appointment as Chairman of the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee. He also served as Chairman of the Aerospace Industries Association from 2001 to 2003. He is a Director of FleetBoston Financial, First Data Corporation and the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation. In 2002, Mr. Burnham was named Six Sigma Executive-of-the-Year by the International Society of Six Sigma Professionals.
