Daniel P. Burnham, Former Raytheon Company Chairman and CEO, Elected to Green Hills Software Board of Directors

SANTA BARBARA, CA-February 10, 2004— Green Hills Software, Inc., the market leader in embedded software development tools and royalty-free real-time operating systems (RTOS), announced today the election of Daniel P. Burnham to its Board of Directors.

Most recently, Mr. Burnham was Chairman and chief executive officer of Raytheon Company, a leader in the defense, government and commercial electronics markets with approximately $17 billion in annual sales. Prior to joining Raytheon, Mr. Burnham was vice chairman of AlliedSignal, Inc. and president of AlliedSignal Aerospace.

In 2000 Mr. Burnham received a Presidential appointment as Chairman of the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee. He also served as Chairman of the Aerospace Industries Association from 2001 to 2003. He is a Director of FleetBoston Financial, First Data Corporation and the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation. In 2002, Mr. Burnham was named Six Sigma Executive-of-the-Year by the International Society of Six Sigma Professionals.
