Systems & Software Technology Conference (SSTC), Salt Lake City, UT —May 1, 2006— Green Hills Software, Inc., the market leader in safe and secure operating systems, today announced that its INTEGRITY-178B safety critical real-time partitioned operating system is in the process of being fully tested with the TechS.A.T. NetLoader™ data loading utility. This combined and fully integrated capability provides joint avionics customers with an ideal ARINC-653 and ARINC-615A COTS solution that reduces development risk and speeds time-to- market. NetLoader is TechS.A.T.’s ARINC 615A versatile data loading utility. It is the 615A data loading utility choice of many OEMs for both off- and on-aircraft data loading support requirements. NetLoader is fully compliant to all aspects of 615A –1/-2 and is backwards compatible to all earlier 615A versions. Having this combined capability fully integrated provides our joint customers with an ideal ARINC-653 and ARINC-615A solution.” “TechS.A.T. provided their NetLoader utility and is working with our engineers for the integration and test of our combined products,” said Dan O’Dowd, founder and chief executive officer of Green Hills Software. “Green Hills and TechS.A.T. will be able to offer this joint capability to our avionics customers as a proven COTS solution reducing their software development risks and speeding their time-to-market.” About INTEGRITY-178B The INTEGRITY-178B operating system has been designed into almost every major next-generation commercial and military aircraft, including the Boeing 787, Boeing 777-300ER, Airbus A380, BAE Systems Hawk Trainer, Lockheed Martin F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, F/A-22 Raptor, Eurofighter Typhoon, Airbus A400M military transport, Boeing X-45C Joint Unmanned Combat Air Systems and Sikorsky S-92 helicopter. INTEGRITY-178B is also being used in upgrades of the B-52, B-1B, C-17 and F-16. The INTEGRITY-178B operating system was designed from the ground up to meet the most demanding safety and security requirements. INTEGRITY-178B complies with the aviation industry standard ARINC 653-2 part 1 and the Multiple Independent Levels of Security (MILS) security architecture. Because these standards allow software running at different safety and security levels to share a single computer, the use of INTEGRITY-178B can significantly reduce hardware and certification costs. INTEGRITY-178B was designed, developed and certified to DO-178B Level A in multiple avionics systems by Green Hills Software safety experts. It fully complies with the latest ARINC-653-2 part 1 standard just finalized in March of 2006.
